Canonical points to redirect

How to fix it

Repoint the canonical at the final URL.

Sibling checks in this category

• Canonical points to 4xx - The canonical URL returns a 4xx error. The page has no valid canonical.
• Canonical points to 5xx - The canonical URL returns a 5xx error.
• Canonical has no incoming links - The canonical URL is not linked anywhere internally, suggesting the cluster is fragmented.
• Canonical http to https - The page is HTTP but its canonical is HTTPS. Expected during a migration; should not persist.
