Quickstart

Run your first audit, claim a workspace, and read the report in under five minutes.

1. Run a free audit

Paste any URL into the form on the homepage. Wrendex queues an audit and redirects to the dashboard, where the run completes in under twelve minutes for most sites. The free audit runs every check in the catalog, the same set a paid workspace gets.

2. Read the regression diff

Once the audit completes, the regression banner at the top of the report shows what changed since the previous run on the same URL. New errors are sorted by traffic impact; resolved checks are listed inline. If this is your first audit there is nothing to diff against; subsequent runs will populate the banner.

3. Claim a workspace

From the report, click 'Save audit' to claim the run into a workspace. Workspaces are free to create and own all of the audit history, monitored sites, alert rules, and team members. Workspaces are independent of personal accounts; one user can belong to several.

4. Pick a cadence

On the workspace's site list, configure the audit cadence per site: monthly, weekly, or daily, on every plan. More frequent crawls use more credits, but re-crawls are incremental: after the first full crawl, a re-crawl fetches new pages, pages whose sitemap lastmod moved, pages that fail revalidation, and a rotating slice of the rest (5% of the site by default, oldest first, so template-level regressions still surface), and carries every other page forward at no credit cost. Manual re-runs are always allowed, as incremental or full re-crawls. The cadence determines how quickly regressions surface; pick one that matches your deploy frequency.

5. Wire alerts

On the workspace's alert rules page, compose a rule from severity, category, page-set, and threshold. Each rule routes to one or more channels (email, Slack, Teams, PagerDuty); every channel is available on every plan.
